Island Currents: The Argonautica Polaris is written on the west coast of Finland. The area is bilingual swedish-finnish with 80% swedish, in contrast to many other regions of Finland. Topics of the Argonautica Polaris are culture & society, democracy and freedom of speach. Recent posts concern the scope for raising awareness of children's situation in developing countries.
